I feel that some times speed cameras are a copout for… well cops. Either way this guy takes his disdain of cameras and makes it pretty funny.

I really think phone etiquette is something that goes totally unchecked. I will say this musician dealt with it in a funny way that I am sure embarrassed the cell phone offender.

With the recent news that Sony is planning to close its Dash developer site on February 29th, The Verge reported that the alarm clock’s future was uncertain. Does that deter me from jumping on the opportunity to get a deal on a neat tech toy? Nope. Got a notification early this morning from Woot.com that they had new Dashes for a greatly reduced price, so I jumped on it. Even though the dev site is closing the Dash apps would still be available. Additionally there is also the integration of Chumby apps that gives even more widgets. Admittedly I am not completely in the know of what I can and can’t do on the back end but I am excited to have a new platform to work with in the house. I will update again once the new small screen comes in.

A recent post by techblog Engadget reveals that one-quarter of South Korean phone owners have a Galaxy S II, according to Samsung. Now the overall numbers are still pretty pedestrian compared to other devices, but considering the sheer “per capita” numbers having one quarter of a country own and use your device is quite a feather to have in your hat. Way to go Samsung. Even I have a derivative of Sammie’s GS2 with my Sprint Epic Touch 4G.

I couldn’t agree more with the summation that The Verge came up with to describe the PS2. I think in the course of consumer electronics there are going to be devices like this that are just seminal landmarks. The PS2 seemed to be crafted by Frank Lloyd Wright with internal workings that seemed to be from the future for its time. The fact that its HUGE library of games is not supported on the new PS3 further makes the PS2 not seem like a dog in a horse race. It is its own breed and definitely lovely. Good on you PS2, may you never go the way of Ol’ Yeller.

What is a blog? Something I am constantly tinkering with and improving. A place for all my public ideas. A digital footprint in the cyber world letting everyone know I was here. A blog adds simple credibility to thoughts by allowing them to be “published” and “timestamped” (although both those are slightly amorphousin the blogosphere). I might be late to the game on this but the new android app for Word press is very nice. I think I might take all of my photos, links, and resources from Twitter and put it on here instead. This way I have the option of microblog or full blog.
